Thy Kingdom Come

TTKC_EmailBanner_Pentecost2020-1024x270hy Kingdom Come (TKC) is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.

TKC Resources for children and their families

We invite you all to commit to pray together as a family.

What is prayer?  Prayer is talking to God.  It’s telling him what is going on, asking for help, thanking and praising him and seeking forgiveness.  Prayer is also about listening to God.  Sometimes we talk too much about what we want and forget to listen to what God is telling us.

On each of the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, we will send out a “Thy Kingdom Come Daily Bread” for children and their families via the Church Mouse.  Contact Lottie if you would like to receive this EMail if you don’t already.  Alternatively, return here every day during “Thy Kingdom Come” to download the reflection for the day.

Note:  There is an “adult” version too, which is sent out as part of the Daily Bread reflections as mentioned on the website.

Each day we will explore one line of the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray, The Lord’s Prayer.  The Daily Breads will include a little bit about the line of the day, suggested prayers for you to say together and to reflect, as well as a meaningful and fun activity.  Don’t forget to ask the Holy Spirit to be with you as you do these activities.  We hope you find God in the fun and creativity!

We pray that you and your families deepen your relationships with Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit will give you strength and energy and fill you with inspiration to tell your friends and family about your faith.  We pray too that they may come to faith in Jesus.
