Our main service is the Parish Eucharist at 10.30am. The choir sings at this service throughout most of the year, and in term time there is special provision for children (Small Saints). Once a month
this service is ‘All Together’, with the children worshipping with the adults for the whole service. The Parish Eucharist is an opportunity for the whole community to gather in worship and fellowship, combining wonderful music with a family-friendly atmosphere.
For those who prefer an earlier, quieter, shorter service, at 8.30am on Sundays we have a Eucharist in traditional language, derived from the service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer.
About once a month, we have Choral Evensong at 6pm, a service where the congregation are invited to worship mostly by listening to beautiful music.
On Thursdays at 10.00am our Toddler Eucharist is aimed particularly at pre-school children and their parents and carers. After a short service, a toddler group takes place until 11.30am. Term time only.
From Monday to Friday at 9.15am Morning Prayer is said in the chancel (the place where the choir usually sing). We read psalms, listen to readings, and pray to God. Enter by the small door near the bicycle rack, at the corner of the church near the school.
Special services take place for special occasions throughout the church year, including All Souls’ Day, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, the Annunciation, and Holy Week. Look out for publicity.
